About Kim Brooks

Award-winning author, licensed minister, prolific speaker and songwriter, Kim Brooks was called for such a time as this! 

A native Detroiter, Kim has had a passion for writing ever since she was a small child. It was not until she got saved upon graduating from high school, became an active member of Word of Faith International Christian Center, and earnestly prayed about her purpose did Kim discover that she was called to minister the gospel through the spoken and written word.

As a single Christian, and 30-year-old virgin who is saving herself for marriage, Kim ministers candidly and conducts workshops on the subjects of abstinence, healthy relationships, how to resist temptation, waiting on the Lord, and true happiness which can only be found in an open and honest relationship with Jesus Christ.

Kim earned a Bachelor of Art's degree in English from Michigan State University. She is also a graduate of Word of Faith Bible Training Center and a member of American Christian Writers/Detroit Chapter.

Kim is the Founder and President of Driven Enterprises, a ministry whose purpose is to spread the gospel as it pertains to living a victorious, purposeful life.

She is the author of the Black Expressions' Best-Selling novel, He's Fine...But is He Saved?, its highly acclaimed sequel, He's Saved...But is He For Real? and, The Little Black Survival Book for Single Saints.  

Kim is a contributing singles columnist for Anointed Pages Magazine and she authors and distributes a monthly E-Newsletter for singles entitled, The Single Heart.
